Solid Surface Fabricator

Job description

The solid surface fabricator is responsible for constructing countertops per shop drawing specifications with accuracy and speed for an established commercial cabinetry company.

Essential Duties

• Understand architectural blueprints and specifications
• Knowledgeable of materials, methods, and tools involved in fabrication and installation
• Must be able to travel to construction work sites to install/ touchup
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Cabinet countertop fabrication and Millwork experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to safely lift heavy solid surfaces
• Knowledge of building codes and architectural terminology
• Self-starter, able to work individually as well as in a team
• Good driving record for onsite travel
• Monday – Friday from 7am – 4pm, willing to work overtime when necessary
