Retail Stock Clerk

Responsibilities and duties of a Stocker/Merchandiser:

• Greet customers entering establishments.
• Ability to scan and price all items within store standards while stocking.
• Ability to answer customer questions about our brand and who we are.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ability to multi task.
• Request information or assistance using paging systems.
• Stock shelves, and mark prices on shelves and items.
• Ability to climb up and down stepladders.
• Ability to merchandise grocery to company standards.
• Ability to learn how to cashier.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in retail stocking positions.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Ability to lift 35lb.
• Sales and merchandising skills
• High school degree
• Must have morning availability and be able to work weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $9.35 to $9.50 /hour
