Responsibilities and duties of a Stocker/Merchandiser:
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Ability to scan and price all items within store standards while stocking.
- Ability to answer customer questions about our brand and who we are.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Ability to multi task.
- Request information or assistance using paging systems.
- Stock shelves, and mark prices on shelves and items.
- Ability to climb up and down stepladders.
- Ability to merchandise grocery to company standards.
- Ability to learn how to cashier.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in retail stocking positions.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Attention to detail and mathematical skills
- Ability to lift 35lb.
- Sales and merchandising skills
- High school degree
- Must have morning availability and be able to work weekends.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $9.35 to $9.50 /hour
