Requirements

We are looking for a top producer with a documented track record of three or more years of sales experience. Capital equipment sales in a B2B environment is a plus. Inside/outside sales and strong phone experience is required. The candidate must be energetic, goal-driven and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality with the ability to quickly and comfortably build rapport with customers.

  • Computer-literate and comfortable using a CRM system to manage contact information

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated 3+ years of successful sales experience
  • Experience selling big-ticket or capital equipment is preferable
  • Adept at closing new business and managing existing accounts
  • Strong consultative sales background
  • Proven track record of quantifiable sales accomplishments
  • Excellent phone skills required with good verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills
  • High energy and results-driven personality
  • Strong organization and time management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop and grow business in a multi-state territory
  • Utilize proven sales tactics and business savvy techniques to overcome gatekeeper objections
  • Identify prospects by utilizing creative lead generation techniques
  • Ability to uncover business needs, influence others and position the appropriate product for their business
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Generate organic growth from existing accounts
  • Develop and support a dealer network within the territory
  • Organize and staff key trade shows in the assigned territory
  • The individual is required to work from our office in Lake Bluff, IL, Monday through Friday
  • Up to 25% travel required
