Job Description:

In order to fulfill our organizational goals, True Believers Community Connections is seeking to hire a Program Administrator. Applicants would need to have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience in people management. Applicants must also be dedicated workers and problem-solvers.  Ultimately, applicants would ensure organizational programs run smoothly and achieve their purpose. Role and Responsibilities

Coordinate, direct, and manage the specific program requirements within the organization.
 

Main duties and responsibilities

Coordinate operations and staff for various events, activities, programs, and projects including managing budgets, recruiting program participants, and establishing policies; work to ensure programs are funded and achieve their stated objectives and expected outcomes effectively; reports directly to the Executive Director.
 

Other Assignments

  • Working with community members and stakeholders to identify needed resources, programs, and services
  • Oversee all operations, activities, and budgets for each program
  • Lead fundraising efforts when needed
  • Prepare and monitor program calendar
  • Schedule or rearrange tasks and projects as necessary
  • Pre-screen, supervise and coach team members (e.g. staff, student interns, volunteers)
  • Apply critical thinking skills for program efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all program regulations, standards, and practices
  • Enter data and prepare reports on the programs’ status or challenges
  • Recommend improvements, present ideas, and facilitate new programs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Proven experience as a program coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in budgeting and fundraising
  • Familiarity with community-based, youth-related policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of recruiting process
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of time and project management resources (e.g. Excel, Microsoft Teams)
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • BS in Business or relevant field

The organization provides supportive services, primarily education and training, to high-risk populations on their journey toward being equipped and developed as leaders.

Our focus is on delinquency and violence prevention, which would help improve the overall health and economic development of the Auburn Gresham and Englewood communities, the quality of life for all residents, but specifically, increase the likelihood youth ages 11 to 24 will be empowered and equipped as leaders.
