Licensed Health Insurance Agent

THIS IS A FULL-TIME REMOTE POSITION

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have sales experience with a “Closer” attitude
• Must possess either a South Carolina or North Carolina Health Insurance License (Depending on your State of Residence)
• NC resident Agents must also have the Medicare Line of Authority
• Maintain an up to date Residence license making sure CE’s are done within the required time
• Must possess effective and professional communication skills
• Must have patients and empathy for the Senior Consumer
• The ability to adhere to specific guidelines and procedures (CMS Compliance Guidelines)
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coach-able
• 40 Hour Work Week Commitment

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet weekly sales requirements (sales requirements may change at request of management)
• Receive incoming live transfer leads that are pre-qualified for coverage
• Comply with Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and, State legal requirements and standards.
• Guide the Senior Consumer on a plethora of Medicare products from various carriers by explaining the features of various policies
• Navigate Carrier website for In-Network Doctors when requested
• Assist Senior Consumers with online applications
• Explain in full their new benefits, answering any questions that may arise during the process
• Recite the closing script in order to close the sale
• Agents must follow The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Compliance regulations at all times with no deviation
