Host/Hostess

Barr's Public House is a locally owned, women run, unique gastro-pub.  We're now hiring a Host/Hostess to help us keep growing. If you're excited to be part of a exciting, all-star team Barr's Public House is the perfect place for you. Apply online or in person at 3355 Briarfield Blvd suite C. 
 

• Answer the phone and input customer reservations into our reservation system.
• Make daily calls to customers to confirm their upcoming reservations
• Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
• Seat customers accordingly
• Bus tables and assist in keeping the restaurant running smoothly.
• Refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed
• Help waitstaff by getting water for customers,

• 2 years of restaurant experience, preferred
• Able to answer a multi line office telephone
• Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Experience with electronic reservation system
• Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
• Able to work a variety of shifts
• Able to stand for long periods of time
