Direct Care Staff

Xclusiv Services, LLC in Whittier, CA is looking for personal care aides to join our team. We are located on 13303 Philadelphia St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, responsible, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to clients in day to day activities such as: cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending medical appointments, blood sugar management, assistance to pay rent and bills, money management, community integration, and accessing generic resources.
• Ensure clients receive their proper medication in a timely manner. Each medication disbursement to be documented.
• Communicate with medical professionals about patients health or issues that may arise
• Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs.
• Providing clients with supervision, assistance and support to live as independently as possible while encouraging positive choice making.
• To monitor the health and safety of each client while they are in their home and community.
• High attention to detail, maintain documentation, and able to submit documents on time

Qualifications

• Experience working as a personal care aide or similar field is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to client needs
• Staff are required to pass a background check, have a reliable vehicle, Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and have a smart cell phone.
• Able to read and write in English
• 18 years of age or older
