Xclusiv Services, LLC in Whittier, CA is looking for personal care aides to join our team. We are located on 13303 Philadelphia St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, responsible, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to clients in day to day activities such as: cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending medical appointments, blood sugar management, assistance to pay rent and bills, money management, community integration, and accessing generic resources.
- Ensure clients receive their proper medication in a timely manner. Each medication disbursement to be documented.
- Communicate with medical professionals about patients health or issues that may arise
- Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs.
- Providing clients with supervision, assistance and support to live as independently as possible while encouraging positive choice making.
- To monitor the health and safety of each client while they are in their home and community.
- High attention to detail, maintain documentation, and able to submit documents on time
Qualifications
- Experience working as a personal care aide or similar field is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to client needs
- Staff are required to pass a background check, have a reliable vehicle, Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and have a smart cell phone.
- Able to read and write in English
- 18 years of age or older
