Attorney- First Party Property

My client is an AV-rated insurance defense firm and is seeking an attorney with 1-3 years prior experience in first-party property defense.

Candidates should have experience handling first-party property insurance cases, taking and defending depositions, answering discovery, and preparing/arguing pleadings and motions.

• Read, review, analyze and report on discovery to clients.
• Conduct legal analyses of issues in claims, requiring knowledge and understanding of applicable case law and statutes.
• Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with attorneys and clients.
• Engage in litigation-related events including but not limited to depositions, conferences, and hearings.
• Properly track and record time billed on claim-related tasks.

• Juris Doctorate
• Florida Bar Admission/Member in Good Standing
• 1-5 years of First Party Property Experience
