Candidates should have experience handling first-party property insurance cases, taking and defending depositions, answering discovery, and preparing/arguing pleadings and motions.
- Read, review, analyze and report on discovery to clients.
- Conduct legal analyses of issues in claims, requiring knowledge and understanding of applicable case law and statutes.
- Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with attorneys and clients.
- Engage in litigation-related events including but not limited to depositions, conferences, and hearings.
- Properly track and record time billed on claim-related tasks.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate
- Florida Bar Admission/Member in Good Standing
- 1-5 years of First Party Property Experience
