Asia Pacific Trading Co, a well-established eyewear wholesaler in Los Angeles, is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Sales/Office Clerical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This position would be a great fit for a responsible, eager college student or entry-level candidate with a passion for fashion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organize and track eyewear samples
- Perform quality control on incoming goods and coordinate sample shipments and approvals
- Prepare client quotation sheets and photograph products
- Work closely with vendor base and customer base to ensure all issues and inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately
- Communicate with clients regarding status of samples
- Organize and file company and client documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to work independently and make thoughtful and informed decisions
- Must have strong organization, coordination, and follow-through
- Must be a team player with a great attitude
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel)
- Must be a quick learner and good problem solver
- Must have strong work ethic
- Must take the initiative
- Must be able to multitask, juggling several tasks at once with accuracy
- Must be a good planner with consistent follow-through skills to complete projects in a timely and accurate manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design software (i.e., Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience in retail and/or wholesale
Proposed Schedule:
- Position starting at 20 hours a week, with potential transition to full-time
- Monday-Friday: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm is preferred but willing to adjust for qualified candidates
Pay:
- Commensurate with experience
