Welder

N. Wasserstrom, an industry leader since 1902, is a national leader in the manufacturing of food service equipment. We currently have an opportunity for a Welder to join our team.

Does made in America mean something to you? Do you take pride in your work and like working with your hands? Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not mandatory. TIG weld thin gauge stainless steel sheet metal components together to fabricate restaurant equipment. Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. Other duties as required.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to work with cordless/pneumatic and basic hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch.
• Ability to add and subtract fractions.
• Ability to TIG weld.
• Ability to understand and work with build documents and basic drawings.
• Attention to detail and group problem-solving skills required.
• Must be mechanically inclined.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
