Welder

Combi Packaging, located in North Canton, is looking for a qualified candidate to add to our shop team. The Welder will build standard and custom end-of-line packaging machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Understand basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written guidelines to accurately layout, position and weld parts and frames for machinery
• Have the skills and knowledge to MIG, TIG, Oxyacetylene Torch, Spot Weld and Plasma cutting Skills
• Weld components in flat, horizontal and vertical positions
• Perform welding of Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum alloys
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Collaborate with a team as well as minimum supervision to meet manufacturing schedule
• Hand Grinding experience
• Can provide standing welding tools
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years welding experience
• TIG and MIG welding skills
• Blue print reading experience
• High Attention to Detail
• Mathematical Aptitude
• Time Management
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
