Warehouse Associate-Packing

Glo Skin Beauty’s Warehouse Associates facilitate customer order delivery for our award-winning skincare and beauty products. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team full-time in a packing role. This role involves handling outbound shipments by packing customer orders accurately and preparing them for shipping.

Essential duties of the Warehouse Associate:

• Efficiently pack customer orders: receive picked/verified orders for wrapping or packaging according to product and customer type; pack boxes carefully to ensure no damage is sustained in shipping; use computer to input information for shipping label; accurately follow any customer-specific instructions for wrapping or packing.
• Load packed boxes onto shipping trailer: stack packed boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. onto pallets; use a pallet jack to load pallets into shipping trailers.
• Positively represent the Glo Skin Beauty brand: execute job duties with a friendly demeanor and cooperative attitude; demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to Warehouse Manager coaching and customer feedback; maintain good attendance; communicate clearly and in a professional manner; always adhere to safety rules and best practices.

• Complete tasks which ensure warehouse cleanliness, orderliness, and safety (e.g. sweeping, picking up loose items, ensuring clear walkways)
• Assist where needed with other warehouse tasks or help colleagues (e.g. picking, returns, kitting, internal projects, etc.)

• 6 months or more of related Warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to function independently with a high degree of accuracy and proactivity
• Commitment to safety
• Attention to detail, ability to read documents in English
• Ability to interact with colleagues and cooperate to complete tasks
• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience

• Warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure
• Long periods of standing
• Availability for potential overtime hours
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 pounds.
