As a part-time DC Assistant in our Vancouver, WA facility, you will play a key role in warehouse operations and in our distribution center. Delivering quality product with the best ingredients from around the world is our pleasure; right down to how we ship our products. Vital to your success in this entry-level, ground floor role is bringing a desire to learn. You will gain experience in milling, order picking, repack, inventory control, as well as shipping and receiving full truckloads of product throughout the day. Along with driving an electric pallet jack and forklift, you will regularly lift heavy objects weighing 55 to 75 lbs. Your innate ability to see the bigger picture regarding the overall warehouse operations serves you well as you focus on paying attention to the small details. Safety is always a priority at BSG and a keen-eye in this area is a must. Being a team player with an ability to collaborate inter-departmentally comes easily for you as you place your stamp of approval on every box of goods that ships out and on inventory coming in. What sets you apart is motivation combined with adaptability as you bring team skills and pitch-in wherever needed, such as maintaining sanitation and doing whatever else it takes to get the job done right.

• Ability to regularly lift 55-pound bags
• Attention to detail
• Picking orders per Customer Requirements
• Ensuring orders are packed properly and has correct address
• Inventory management - Check lot numbers, expiration dates, etc.
• Daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly cycle counts
• Monitor sanitation schedule 
• Must adhere to food safety standards
• Management of expired/damaged products
• Will wear steel toe boots
• Dust mask must be worn while operating the mill
• No smoking policy
• Must be comfortable working in an environment that involves dust
