I am looking for a virtual receptionist to answer phone calls to my practice, schedule/reschedule patients, record demographic and insurance information, and send messages to me if an encounter cannot be handled over the phone. Receptionist may work from home but MUST live in the Richmond, VA area. Must have a high school diploma and experience working in a similar position, preferably related to a medical office. The individual will need to be highly organized, professional and have experience in operating a computer based scheduling system. The receptionist is responsible for providing their own telephone with a line that may be deducted to the practice during business hours. Pay is dependent upon experience and positive reference checks. There are chances to expand services provided with appropriate training and a commiserate increase in salary.
