Responsibilities of the Vice President, IT Operations and Infrastructure:
Modernizing IT infrastructure is a critical piece of the strategic plan for Information Technology for our client. This leader will direct improvements to cloud services, unified communications, network services, data center operations, servers and storage platforms, and service monitoring. This role also works closely with the CIO and peer IT leaders, including information security, governance, and application development, to design and execute the system’s technology roadmap. The VP of IT Operations will develop strategy, drive innovation, and ensure execution and support in a complex system with multiple sites.
This individual is responsible for providing the strategic direction for the infrastructure function on an enterprise level. He or she or will assess the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future enterprise infrastructure needs and projects. This leader will Interface with business unit executives and other IT functional area executives to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness with a growth mindset and invoking a culture of innovation.
