Job Description:
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
UFIT "University of Fitness Information and Technology" physical education coaches enhance and transforms psycho motor into a positive experience that helps students get the most out of every learning opportunity.
We assist in maintaining standards of student discipline and ensuring the observance of rules and procedures by students and others on a school campus, by orchestrating play and physical activity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in daily sports and fitness activities with groups of 20+ Students
- Learn and execute the physical education curriculum
- Maintain control of Students
- Managing equipment (set up storage, etc.)
- Administer a Positive Behavior approach with students
- Daily attendance and punctuality is a MUST
- Communicate clearly and consistently with students, coaches and administrative staff
- Participating in monthly company fitness training
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to pass Megan’s Law check, drug, and background check
- TB Tested
- Experience in fitness, coaching, or physical education
- Experience working with children
- Bilingual is a plus +
- Certification from a nationally accredited organization is preferred but not required i.e. NASM, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, NESTA, etc.
- Must email certification in Mandated Reporter General Training
COVID-19 considerations: All candidates must be vaccinated, wear a mask, and participate in weekly COVID testing.
Experience:
- Sports coaching: 2-3 years (Required)
