ATLANTA, GA – CLASS A
Drivers need to graduate Truck School (within 2 yrs) with a certificate. (120 hours credit)
Same commission for students at PAM or experienced
Full time – No interview required
2 days off 14 days on
Trucking experience level preferred 6 months
Average weekly gross $1,057
Average yearly gross $55,000 – 65,000
Driver Activity-based pay
Miles/weekly – min: 2000
Transported to orientation by bus
This over the road job operates East of I-95
NO HIRING RADIUS EXCEPTIONS
Schedule: 2-week out minimum required – 1 day off earned for each week out, weekend time off is not guaranteed
Reset: All drivers are to reset at the physical address on the application if the driver wishes to reset elsewhere please notify the hiring manager
Start time: Day and night driving – drivers are unable to select their time
Shift: Average 8 – 10 hours per day/70 hours per week
Position Details: Hauling a consistent freight base mainly east of I35 – will be required to operate east of the Rockies on occasion (will not typically travel further north than NY State (No NYC) / No Canada)
Average length of a haul is 500 miles

Trucks are not equipped with refrigerator drivers may bring their own
J.B HUNT directly billed for scales through the Weigh My Truck app
Pet and Passenger Policies:
Passengers permitted at no cost – passenger policy forms required
One breed cat or dog under 60lbs is allowed $300 charge (pet fees may be paid upfront or deducted from paycheck)
No more than one pet – no exceptions
Pet policy authorization forms required when pet is onboard
Pets are not allowed at the hotel or terminal during onboarding.
Onboarding – Drivers will complete the DTW process and onboard at the terminal nearest them. The driver will remain at the terminal for two days: on the first day, drivers will complete a check ride, Electrodiagnostic Functional Assessment, Smith System Training, paid at the terminal’s hourly rate. On the second day, the drivers will complete a Truckload Experience Class they will cover PeopleNet, the Drive App, our Fuel Network, the drivers are paid $90 for the class. Once completed, the driver will immediately take dispatch without additional training. Please advise them to bring enough clothes, personal items, funds, etc. for 10 days.
