Traveling SUPERINTENDENT Job - Denver

Traveling Superintendents is hiring for our client who is a rapidly expanding general contracting company with headquarters in Arlington Heights, IL, and additional offices in Scottsdale, AZ, and Charlotte, NC. Our projects span across the United States, and we are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team.
 

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of construction management experience in various asset classes, including Higher Education, Retail, Multi-family, Hospitality, Healthcare, Restaurant, Transportation, Water and Waste Treatment, Self-Storage, Senior Living, Convention Centers, Laboratories, and Correctional facilities. Strong technical skills, effective communication, and meticulous attention to detail are essential qualities we seek in potential candidates.

Responsibilities of Superintendents include:

• Leading and managing subcontractors
• Overseeing all stages of construction projects, from initial planning to completion, in public works projects or private commercial work across multiple industries
• Administering safety programs and ensuring site safety
• Representing customer service and managing quality control programs

We are seeking Superintendents who possess expertise in general construction techniques, problem-solving skills and have technical knowledge in various construction aspects such as concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, moisture proofing, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishing, conveying systems, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, security, earthwork, exteriors improvements, utilities, demolition, and more.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of building and construction management experience
• OSHA Site Safety experience
• Proficient in modern technology and excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of construction practices and principles
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment with a desire to contribute to the company's growth
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel if required

Preferred qualifications:

• 9+ years of building and construction management experience
• Associates/Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in commercial projects, hospitals, public projects, schools, multifamily, etc.
• Estimating experience is a plus
• Familiarity with project management processes and software (Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE)
• OSHA 30-Hour Training
• LEED Project Experience
• Proven experience in multi-story construction
