NEMT Transport Driver

 Job Description:
We are looking for Non-Emergency Medical Transport drivers that get clients to and from medical appointments.  As a driver, you must have a safe clean driving record, follow all state laws, rules and regulations.  In this position you follow prearranged medical appointments and verify with medical facility.  You as a driver will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.

Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
* Practice safe driving habits
* Complete documentation of mileage of clients to and from appointments
* Properly fill out transport and service verification forms
* Complete daily vehicle inspection sheets
* Be reliable/punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
* Able to assist passengers when needed
* Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
* Valid New Mexico drivers license
* 25 yrs or older
* Be able to provide New Mexico driving record 3 years
* Mandatory drug test
* Pass a criminal background check
* Previous transporting experience a plus but not preferred
* Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
* CPR/First Aid Certification
* HIPPA Training Certified
* Physically able to reach, stretch, bend and sit for long periods of time during daily routes.
