Position Summary: The Office of Food and Nutrition Services is committed to promoting healthy food choices among our students and maintaining high nutritional standards while offering delicious, healthy and satisfying menu choices. The Training Department is dedicated to identifying the training needs of the organization as well as creating professional development and training modules focused and aligned with improving program efficiencies and customer responsiveness. A Training Manager will supervise a school site(s) that feeds NYC students and is also dedicated to training.
Report To: Associate School Food Service Manager with an indirect report to the Director of Training and Staff Development
Direct Reports: OFNS staff in school / location as well as OFNS employees being trained.
Key Relationships: Relationships will be fostered with Principals, School Administration, OFNS Administration, as well as the Training and Staff Development director and Training Developers.
