Tour Guide / Host

We are looking for an extremely personable, responsible host to lead groups through the city. We're not looking for the typical tour guide to robotically repeat information about the city. We're looking for a host to make a connection with each of our guests, make sure everyone feels included, and has no problem starting conversations. Each guest should leave feeling cared for and a sense of friendship.

You will be responsible for safely driving each group, and giving them new experiences, new knowledge, new friends, and awesome pictures. A GREAT host is one that guests want to mention specifically on their reviews, and are happy to refer to friends and family.

You may be hosting the same tour every day you're available. Although you will have hosted multiple times, you need to remember it will be the guests first time experiencing the city, so it's important to maintain the same level of excitement and enthusiasm each time you host.

We’re looking for a reliable and responsible tour guide who is comfortable driving the group and has a true deep love for your city. We welcome everyone that lives, works in, and loves the city, but primarily are looking for people with fairly flexible schedules; available weekends especially, and during holiday months. We would like someone to join us that are willing to have clear communication skills, professional, friendly, responsible, and on time every time.
 

Experience that is required includes:

• A valid Driver’s License A clean driving record (no accidents)
• Clear verbal communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays
• 18 Years or older
   

Experience that is helpful, but not necessarily required includes:

• Historical knowledge and a breadth and width of information about your city
• Photography skills
• Customer Service experience
• Livery Service experience
• Multiple language proficiency
• Large vehicle driving experience
• Problem solving skills

Speaking multiple languages and previous tour experience are all helpful, but not absolutely essential. We are able to train the right person on many things. What we aren't able to train you on, and what is absolutely crucial, is people with personality. People that make a good impression, has a lot of common sense, people skills, can easily start a conversation, a love for your city, the willingness to learn, and knows how to prioritize our guests while also keeping them safe.
