Job Overview

This position should provide fast and useful technical assistance for our team and clients’ networks and computer systems. They will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. The intern has great technical knowledge and can communicate effectively to understand the issue at hand and explain its solution. They are customer-oriented and patient dealing with urgent matters, able to speak with clients in plain English and be presentable. Ideal candidate would have a passion for networking in the process of doing Cisco training and wants to do Cisco training.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, with a thirst to learn more
• Knowledge of ticketing systems and monitoring software;
• Entry level computer hardware; software troubleshooting;
• Background in Windows 7-10
• Desktop support knowledge; fixing Microsoft Office products, including Outlook;
• Comfortable using Apple/OS X Products;
• Installation and management of software (updates, tools, etc.);
• Customer service support over the phone or on-site; Remote support;
• Networking troubleshooting;
• Data Management, record keeping;
• Management of mobile devices;
• Assist other IT team members when needed.
• Assist users in software, hardware, and web services including but not limited to all

Qualifications

Desire to grow quickly in our MSP to a full time Job in Networking with an emphasis on Cisco products

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Clean driver’s license with mode of transportation
• Some form of information technology experience
• Possess strong verbal and written skills;
• Possess a strong work ethic, be a self-starter and team player
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work independently and accurately with minimal supervision;
