Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are currently seeking Therapists who can provide parent coaching and training as outlined in service authorization provided by DFCS.

Responsibilities:

• Upon receiving referral, make collateral calls to referring agency, review all documentation and notes pertaining to the family or individual’s history, diagnosis, and case plan.
• Provide individual counseling.
• Provide family counseling, training, and coaching.
• Conduct mental health assessments.
• Work in partnership with DFCS case managers to help individuals and families achieve their potential.
• Attend court hearings or case panel hearings to testify as requested by attorneys and DFCS.
• Track units of service and dates of service outlined on the service authorization.
• Document all service in Electronic Health record.
• Attend monthly meetings, as required, for training, to receive updates regarding policies and procedures and to staff cases.
• Maintain compliance with required trainings: Safe to Sleep,
  Child Safety Car Seat, HIPPA, Workplace Violence, Security Information
  Awareness, etc.

Requirements:

• Bilingual preferred
• Master’s degree in community counseling or related field. (Social Work, Community Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy).
• Must be license eligible with Georgia’s Secretary of State.
• Must be under supervision for licensure if not fully licensed.
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to provide assessment and clinical services.
• Must practice by the ethical standards of the professional association and state licensing board.
• Complete and pass a criminal background check (DHS OIG) and other safety screenings and drug screen.
• Must have access to a computer and telephone to contact clients and document services provided.
• Must submit a valid and official transcript showing proof of degree awarded.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record and proof of insurance.

Job Type: Contract status, Part Time
