The Sanneh Foundation Resource VISTA Responsibilities

• Learn the TSF culture, Dreamline logic model, and theory of change
• Create a series of Partnership Agreement templates: Volunteer Commitment Forms and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which can be used in the procurement of new individual volunteers and organizational community partners
• Develop a Community Partnership Record System
• Identify additional resources and services for Dreamline program delivery in the beneficiary community
• Identify and build partnerships benefiting Dreamline program delivery in the community
• Secure additional donations or in-kind resources strengthening Dreamline program delivery in the TSF beneficiary community
• Formalize and improve the TSF process to identify, contact, facilitate outreach, recruit and retain new individual volunteers and organizational community partners capable of contributing in-kind resources which strengthen program delivery
• The objective of the Assignment (Period of Performance: August 5, 2019, to August 3, 2020) Design and implement a Dreamline Coach Recruitment System for each beneficiary community
• Design a recruitment strategy to hire and retain Dreamline Coaches who have a specific interest in working in partnership with disengaged students to enhance the lives of individuals and family members residing in low-income communities and communities of color
• Create a system to track communications with potential Dreamline Coaches
• Create and pilot events which “bring community members together” to educate community organizations and prospective Dreamline Coaches about the program and TSF services
• Determine a criterion to assess the effectiveness of events in accomplishing recruitment goals

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National or have status as a Lawful Permanent Resident Alien

• Interest in youth, service, education, and non-profit work
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of tasks, priorities, and people in order to meet goals
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team, take initiative and work independently
• Able to present oneself in a highly professional manner and be an ambassador of the program
• Work or volunteer experience with organizations serving youth or underserved communities
• Reliable transportation is highly recommended
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Prefer Associate’s Degree or higher

• AmeriCorps VISTA Members serve in a full-time capacity (40 hours per week during their term of service)
• AmeriCorps VISTA Members may NOT be a full-time student or have another full-time position while serving
