Test Lab Technician

This Test Lab Technician position is in our Chassis Division.

I. Detail Description

I-1. General Description

• Performs tests, measures parts, and provides reports
• Evaluates Test Data

I-2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Performs measurements on test parts and records data.
• Set-up test equipment and fixtures to measure parts.
• Draft test reports for internal review
• Help build test fixtures and equipment modifications as required
• Support preventative maintenance and calibrations of equipment

I-3. Job Requirements

I-3-1. Work Experience

• 2+ years in automotive manufacturing
• 2+ years of testing/metrology experience, can be concurrent with above

I-3-2. Education

• Associates with specialized training in test or metrology or 2+ year experience in an automotive Quality environment.

I-3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Proficient Technical Report Writing
• Understanding of electro-mechanical controls and products
• Proficient with Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in use of measurement tools. (Force Gages, Calipers, Indicators, etc.)
• Good communication skills.
