Job Title/Series /Grade: Telecommunications Specialist, GG-0391-11
 

Pay Range: $68,608 - $93,758 per year
 

Work Schedule: Full-Time
 

Location: Wahiawa, HI
 

Duties:

 

  •  You will serve as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Facility Control Office Hawaii (FCO) and Circuit Actions Office Technician.
  • You will be responsible for processing incoming Telecommunications Service Orders (TSO) and assuring received orders are taken for action, coordinated, tracked, tested and documented.
  • You will maintain Circuit History Folders per DISA requirements in both electronic and hard copy format ensuring the documentation is properly maintained.
  • You will operate and troubleshoot circuits that traverse facility infrastructure and various antenna systems, multiplexers, switches, routers and cryptographic systems supporting fleet operations on a daily basis.
  • You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Any Console Any Station (ACAS)/High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS) providing service to the Pacific Area or Responsibility.
  • You will be responsible for direct liaison with the Technical Control Facility (TCF) on ACAS system mission operational matters affecting users of the system.
  • You will coordinate new installations, software and hardware upgrades ensuring they are in compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency doctrines and specifications.
  • You will integrate with and assist Special Projects Officer by liaising with the TCF Technical Director in maintaining operational readiness through system interface assurance, circuit actions coordination, and documentation.
  • You will establish and implement short and long-term strategies to deliver services to customers within an acceptable timeframe.

 

 

Condition of Employment:

 

  • Must be a U. S. Citizen
  • Able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level Clearance
  • Subject to polygraph examination
  • Testing Designated Position (TDP) and subject to random drug tests
  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) and must maintain qualifications IAW SECNAV M-5239.2
