Role: Technical Lead / Technical Manager with PERL skills

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 + months

Job Description:

• Project Management skills
• Ability to lead offshore team of 4-6 resources
• Able to suggest application improvements and implement best practices
• Experience in Web programming using PERL, Javascript (Python is also considered)
• Strong experience in front-end development -- CSS, HTML, javascript
• Solid understanding of multidimensional data structures, references, regular expressions
• Proficiency in Object Oriented programming for both system administration and web applications
• Good understanding of database concepts: Joins, sub queries, triggers, stored procedures
• Ability to quickly read and understand legacy code
• Good communication skills
• Extremely high sense of urgency and responsiveness

Good to have skills

• Perl web application programming skills
• Object oriented Perl programming
• Proficiency with the following Perl Modules: DBI, DBD::Oracle, Date, HTML::Template, LWP, CGI, JSON
• Ability to write own Perl Modules and subroutine packages
