Teacher

Seeking a full-time 3rd through 5th grade multi-grade classroom teacher.  Candidate will be responsible for lesson planning, instruction, evaluating materials for grade appropriateness, and assessing student performance and development.  In addition, candidate to display a life centered on Christ, give Christian student instruction, and promote the mission of St Johns Lutheran Church and School.  Excellent, professional relationships with other staff, parents, and students required.  Proof of bachelor’s degree and appropriate licensure to be submitted with resume to stjhnsch@hmtel.com or mailed to Principal Gregory Brand, PO Box 189, Wykoff, MN 55990.  Position open until filled.

St Johns Lutheran School is an arm of ministry and mission of St Johns Lutheran Church.  We are here to serve any family who is interested in Christian education.  At the present time, approximately fifty percent of our students are not members of our church.  Because of our small size, students receive personal attention.  Our classrooms for grades one through eight are multi-grade classrooms.  Multi-grade classroom settings can give students excellent opportunity to experience overlapping with curriculum, to review subject material when it is presented to students in different grades, and requires students to become more independent and self-motivated.
