Tax Director/Partner Mergers & Acquisitions Hybrid

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director/Partner to join our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. Position is Hybrid in this role, you will lead tax planning and advisory efforts for our clients involved in complex M&A transactions. You will leverage your expertise to navigate intricate tax issues, providing strategic guidance that maximizes value and minimizes risk.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tax structuring and due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Participate in business development activities to expand the firm's M&A practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., JD, LLM, MBA) preferred.
• CPA certification required
• 12 + years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and M&A transactions
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and business development capabilities.
