System Administrator, Network & Systems

Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus is now accepting applications for System Administrator, Network & Systems.  The Systems Administrator performs daily administration tasks across the enterprise server infrastructure including, but not limited to, virtualization, operating systems, servers, and network storage.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs daily system administration tasks
• Installs and maintains servers in a virtualized environment
• Installs operating system patches and updates
• Installs and supports network storage systems
• Monitors and supports backup processes
• Provides systems technical support and monitors systems operations
• Develops and maintains system documentation
• Participates in the development of procedures for the operation of servers and systems
• Provides timely and rapid responses to requests and incidents

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of six (5) years of experience in the administration and management of enterprise-wide servers and storage in a virtualized infrastructure.
