Chicago Blue Dolphins is looking for coaches in downtown Chicago with great people skills and a passion for the water and the sport of swimming. Swimming is a life skill and a lifelong fitness activity, so you will have an opportunity to make a big impact on our swimmers’ lives.
This position is a full-time position with a 50-50 mix between coaching time in the water and office/administrative tasks. Whether in the pool or in the office, this job is all about great customer service. You must be reliable, punctual, have a strong work ethic, and good verbal communication skills.
Chicago Blue Dolphins teaches a specific system of instruction to our adult and kid swimmers. You must be willing and able to learn how we do things and teach the curriculum precisely. We also expect that our applicants will be "competition-legal" in the four competitive strokes. You don't need to be a former Olympian, but we believe you need to know the basics of the strokes to be an effective teacher.
Employees in full-time positions are paid on select national holidays. They can opt into medical, dental, and life insurance where CBD covers 80% of the premium on the first of the month after starting work.
