Supervisor

We are looking for experienced Supervisors to be part of our expansion into digital grocery shopping. Help us create a unique and positive experience for Woodman’s customers who can now order their groceries online and have them delivered or pick them up at a location of their choice.

As a supervisor you will ensure all customers’ orders are filled with quality products and a smile. Your role will be managing the workflow and staff members to ensure orders are ready for pick up or delivery on-time making their day a little bit easier. Other key job functions include scheduling employees, training and coaching new and experienced staff, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a professional, positive attitude for your team.

Here’s what you’ll be in charge of:

• Prioritizing and supervising the work of the in-store team
• Ensuring all customer orders are filled accurately and efficiently and that all deadlines are met
• Working with Woodman’s customer service staff and your order fulfillment staff to ensure any customer service issues are dealt with in a timely manner
• Creating the weekly schedule for the location and managing overtime
• Training and overseeing the work of new staff members
• Communicating department standards, policies, and procedures to all staff members
• Creating a culture of pride and continuous improvement

Preferred skills and experience:

• Prior supervisory experience 1 year or more
• Energetic, positive and outgoing personality
• Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Have previous experience with scheduling teams
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous customer service experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Computer proficiency; ability to use an Android smartphone, work with Google Docs, use email, and learn a new computer-based system. We are a tech based company after all .
• Be able and willing to work weekends, evenings
• Must have an open availability
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously to meet deadlines

Required experience:

• Minimum 1 years supervisory related experience
• Leading a team, including training and coaching, with strong leadership skills
• Interviewing experience a plus
• Strong English communication skills verbal and written
• Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds and be able to frequently bend and twist form the waist
• High School Diploma or equivalent
