Staff Accountant

We have partnered with a large real estate investment company in the Chantilly, VA area to provide them with a Staff Accountant.


Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

Manage all data entry of general ledger, cash management, account reconciliation, payroll processing, preparation of taxes (payroll, State, and federal), and processing of accounts receivable and payable
Prepare financial data for both business and CEO’s personal accounts for our CPA firm to file tax returns
Prepare reports financial reports such as tracking inventory, cash flow forecasting, job costing, etc.
Conduct monthly reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data
Manage payroll and track bonus and commission plans
Assist with office management such as ordering supplies, snacks, and team lunches
Assist human resources with onboarding and offboarding employees

Requirements of the Staff Accountant:

3+ years in a corporate accounting/ bookkeeping
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
Experience working with accounting software such as Timberline or Sage 100
Experience in Construction Accounting or Job Costing
