St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam New York is looking for an ambitious, motivated self starter Sr Analyst-Technology to join our Hospitals IT Team. As a Sr Analyst you will be working closely with the Executive Director of the IT Department providing support to the entire Hospital . We are seeking someone who has experience on both the IT side as well as the Clinical side. Knowledge of Meditech is a bonus as well as strong analytic ability and the ability to self learn. What You Will Do

As an Associate with St. Mary's Hospital - NY, you will have the opportunity to apply technical expertise in one or more information technology disciplines to support the organization's technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge following established procedures. Successfully troubleshoots most applications problems independently.
• Participates in design, contributing technical insights and ideas. Helps formulate project scope and objectives.
• Works with customers to understand and explain business and technical issues, respond to user problems, explain new technologies, and present deliverables.
• Writes basic documentation of a new or proposed system. Shares knowledge effectively within the work team. Contributes to project plans, RFP's and RFI's.


 

What You Will Need

Education

• RN or Bachelor's degree required



 

Work Experience

• 4 years of experience in Healthcare preferred.
