They are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (.NET/Azure) to add to their growing team. This is a direct hire fully remote position which is highly stable and offers excellent compensation, bonus, benefits. Overview:

Our client is building out a new Digital Health team that develops and supports a diverse set of digital properties designed to enhance the in-vitro diagnostic testing process for their customers. The Sr. Software Engineer is part of a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team that:

  • Designs and develops software, collaborates on software architecture, and builds highly scalable platforms.
  • Works on big issues and concepts in diverse areas, from creating IoT connectivity for remote instrument management, to developing a connected experience for their customers, to scaling out data that ingests millions of tests, to developing software to interpret clinical results.
  • Leads other developers by example, provides mentoring, supports less senior members of the team, and demonstrates strong willingness to work as a team player.
  • Collaborates across the organization with different business units.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Business-related field, Advanced degree a plus.
  • A minimum of 10+ years professional experience developing software in the following technologies: C#, .NET Core and/or .NET.
  • A minimum of 5+ years with SQL and NoSQL storage, and Docker containers.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of production experience with Azure and/or AWS, including serverless compute, queues, and developing cloud-based systems that need to massively scale.

 

Skills

  • Strong understanding of software application design and development principles in an Agile environment.
  • JavaScript, Typescript, and Angular 8+
  • IoT between edge and cloud expertise preferred
  • Highly collaborative – able to work with colleagues across multiple functions at all levels of the organization.
  • Possesses good consultative skills, including with customer service, communication and presentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
  • Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code experience, with experience using GIT code repository
  • Linux basics
