Sr Site Support Engineer

Parker & Lynch is currently conducting a direct hire search for a Sr. Site Support Engineer to join our client in Phoenix, AZ. They are looking for someone experienced in the Support space that is looking for an opportunity to grow their career. Responsibilities:

• Imaging, configuring, use setup, and troubleshooting laptops and desktops, hardware and software running Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Administer a VMWare View VDI implementation, including template imaging, user provisioning, and console management.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server remote desktop session.
• Maintain backup schedules and snapshots using scheduling management software and physical tape media rotation, as well as periodic data recovery.
• Administer Active Directory.
• Must be able to work on-call.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience installing and administrating local area networking, including Windows OS and high-performance servers.
• 7-10 years of experience with various desktop operating systems, including Windows 7 and 10 OS.
• 5 years experience supporting Apple iOS mobile devices.
• Experience with network management and backup/recovery disciplines.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting end use device connectivity over LANs/Wans/Wireless, and mobility products such as VNC and VPN.
• 5+ years experience with Active Directory.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent technical certification is desirable.
