Title: Sr. Android Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Term: 6 Months Contract
Our Irving, TX Client is seeking a Sr. Android Developer for a contract opportunity.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Android Application programming using Java and Kotlin
Knowledge and experience of Android's most common design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with outside data sources and APIs
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Good knowledge of Code-versioning tools (GitHub/Gitlab/SourceTree/SVN)
Knowledge in UI guidelines in Android like Material designs
Knowledge in tracking tool like JIRA
Familiarity with agile development methods (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have skills:
Worked in an aggressive environment
Debugging skills on multiple mobile phone models
Abstracting UI views using fragments
Familiarity with modern Android frameworks (Retrofit, Glide, Room, Dagger, Android X support libraries)
