Title: Splunk Coder/Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
ROLE SUMMARY
• Understand logs in Splunk - version - local encryption - pulling together data points, excellent experience building dashboards.
• Coding/developing in Splunk excellent experience building metrics translate dashboard and metrics into actionable items so that Security Assurance team understands where there may be threats or issues ensure endpoints are monitored;
• Understand how to measure endpoint security get logs out of Splunk measure technical operational controls.
• Write scripts, formulas in Splunk, collect data points to tell a story understand carbon black solution process.
• Create controls to give correct perspective of strengths or weaknesses;
• Understand rules on network firewall rules and redundancies.
• Train current team members;
• Ability to communicate successes at other organizations;
• Ability to quickly execute; hit the ground running great verbal, presentation and writing skills (communicate the right viewpoint to determine issues customer may have or not).
