Speech-Language Pathologist

Neuro-Rehab Psychology Group of Tampa, LLC is growing and seeking a dedicated Bilingual Spanish and English speech-language therapist to join our team. Today, NRG provides superior psychological and neuropsychological services to the greater Tampa Bay Area. We want to extend our reach to the community - and we need your help!

Your Role

• Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in the rehabilitation of individuals with functional disabilities of speech, language, and other areas of cognition (e.g., attention, working memory, executive functions, memory)
• Review medical records, perform testing and written report of obtained results
• Develop treatment plans, and conduct speech therapy interventions
• Routinely re-evaluate individualized therapy plans and identify and develop additional intervention strategies
• Instruct client, family member, and primary caregivers as needed to ensure the maintenance of or acquisition of optimal functioning level for each client
• Documentation and record-keeping of evaluations, therapy interventions, and patient changes
• Maintain appropriate HIPPA compliance and a safe patient environment
• Perform other related duties and activities as required

Requirements

• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English
• Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology with at least 1 to 2 years of experience as a speech therapist
• Current FL state licensure/certification as a speech therapist
• Display competency in providing speech-language therapy services to a diverse population
• Passionate about being a trusted partner to transform behavioral healthcare
• Provide high-quality care
• Competency to review and document comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation reports to summarize tests utilized, results of test(s), and diagnosis of speech/language disorders
• Create detailed care plans, including goal setting and outcome tracking
• Track and document patient progress and findings
• Work in close collaboration with care teams
