Job Compensation

$65-$100 per hr based on education, experience, and certifications


Your Impact Here at MBC

  • Direct teaching of skills to client and data collection on client responses
  • Collect behavior data and implement research-based interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills
  • Support client participation in larger classroom environment
  • Graph and analysis of data collected during sessions to monitor client learning trends
  • Maintain and promote generalization of learned skills
  • Provide feedback and data regarding mainstream opportunities and parent concerns
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other SEIT providers and related service providers to implement student-specific strategies and protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • NYS Teacher’s Certification required
  • Experience with children with Autism or PPD population using the ABA model
  • Experience working in a school-based or home-based environment preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and/or school environment
  • Must have a compatible device (iPad, Laptop etc.) to use for electronic notes
