- Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
- Make architectural designs related to the implementation of new features
- Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
- Operate in an Agile development environment while collaborating with key stakeholders
- Resolve complex technical issues as necessary
- Keep abreast of new technology developments
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Strong understanding of Web development principles: HTTP, cookies, caching.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Node.js
- Experience working with Typescript
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js libraries like React Router, React Query, Next.js, etc.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Familiarity with Bitbucket build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Nice to have:
- Experience with creating CI/CD pipelines to help development and testing
