Position Summary:

EzData Systems, Inc is currently hiring an experienced Software Developer to join our Data Engineering services Practice. The role & responsibilities of the position are:

• Collaborate with the BI teams, project managers, analysts to build visualization applications using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and SAP Business Objects
• Build executive dashboards to monitor performance, provide insights & actionable recommendations. Develop visualizations, secure reports and dashboards as per the business requirements using data analytical tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Build data models, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Microsoft SQL BI Stack
• Develop Drill through and Drill down reports with drop down menu option, sorting the data, and defining subtotals in Power BI and creating DAX expressions. Work with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, SAP HANA, Oracle Exadata, Snowflake etc.
• Build and develop SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts as per the data solutions. Optimize query performance by modifying, eliminating redundant and inconsistent data. Publish dashboards to the servers and provide access to the user groups
• Work on technical areas including BI tool selection, data architecture, database administration, ETL (extract, transform and load), reporting and integration using tools such as SAP Business Objects Data Services, Informatica or MS SSIS

Required qualifications:

Education: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Information Systems, or a combination of education and experience equating to the equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Experience: This position also requires 3 years of prior hands-on project experience in the above mentioned areas, with in-depth expertise in building BI applications using Power BI / Tableau from different data environment. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the enterprise from executives to developers

Required Technical Skill-set & Tools:

• Data Analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, MSBI SQL Stack, Gephi, IBM Watson Analysis
• Languages: SQL, UML 
• Databases: Teradata, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, Vertica
