TITLE:

School Social Worker

LOCATION:
BOCES Wide

REPORTS:
Director of Special Education & Director of Career & Technical Education 

 

TERMS:

Full-time, 10 month

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

NYS Certification as School Social Worker required, LMSW required, LCSW preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Selected candidate will provide individual and group counseling to students in a school based setting. Selected candidate will provide therapeutic interventions and crisis counseling in a program designed for students with emotional/behavioral needs. Candidate will also participate in team planning and collaboration with families and agencies. 

 

SALARY/BENEFITS:

Starting salary $52,991 - $79,266 per year.  Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
