Job Description:

UWorld is seeking a Social Media Specialist to help with various marketing tasks, including managing various social media channels, representing the company at conferences, leading company events, executing digital campaigns, and other duties as assigned. From ongoing monitoring of social media channels to the execution and tracking of campaigns, the Social Media Specialist will work to generate new followers, build awareness for the company and its products, attract new clients, and mitigate issues that arise via social media.

Job Duties (Including but not limited to )

Social Media Management

  • Work with product owners and UWorld marketing team to define social strategy
  • Monitor assigned social media accounts to ensure compliance with UWorld’s standards
  • Engage any customer service issues that arise
  • Build and maintain a community of followers within assigned social channels
  • Recommend content to generate visibility and social engagement


  •  
Campaign Prep & Misc.
  • Execute assigned campaigns and regularly report metrics to measure success
  • Lead or work on assigned company events (town halls, social committee events, focus groups, etc.)
  • Enforce UWorld design/brand standards
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys


  •  
Event Attendance
  • Represent UWorld and its products at numerous conferences
  • Handle booth setup and takedown at assigned conferences

Minimum Education Required

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required or ongoing education and equivalent experience
     
Minimum Experience Required
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Tik Tok, and Pinterest), posting guidelines, trends, and deep understanding of best practices
  • Previous experience representing companies at events, including booth setup, setting schedules, and engaging customers
  • Experience compiling, conducting, and reporting on customer satisfaction surveys
  • Previous general marketing and communications experience
