Shipping Supervisor

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shipping Supervisor candidate working at an automobile manufacturing plant in Tennessee. The plant is located between Chattanooga and Nashville and is about 1 hour from each. This position offers a salary range between $65K-$70K with bonus potential. In addition, full benefits package and a $10K relocation. There is also a 3-month temporary housing allowance while you find a permanent place to live. This is a 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) shift.

Responsibilities of the Shipping Supervisor includes:
8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday) with possible rotating weekend shifts.

Supervision of set employees in the shipping department

Coordinate with other managers to maintain highest level of product quality

Attend meetings daily with other managers and leadership

Develop and lead your team in a positive manner

Preferred skills of the Shipping Supervisor are:

Attention to detail

Must have above average verbal and written skills

High level of professionalism and able to communicate with all

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a face paced environment

Ability to manage and solve any issues

Very strong organization, analytical and problem-solving abilities

Be a great motivator of people in a positive effective manner

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

Valid US driver’s license

High school diploma or GED, prefer 2 years of college or equivalent work experience

Minimum, 2 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Experience with being a manager is preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Conducting (drug screening and background check) report inquiries will be necessary for employment purposes.
