Our growing commercial drapery business is looking for FT/PT help in our drapery fabricating workroom. We have an opening for a fabric cutter who will be cross trained in other areas of the workroom. Experience with sewing machines is helpful, but not necessary for this position but you must be able to read a tape measure. A sense of urgency and attention to detail is critical in this industry as we often have tight deadlines. We are in need of individuals who are fast, efficient and produce high quality work all while contributing to a fun, positive atmosphere.
To be a good fit with our team, you will need to be able to:
- Read a tape measure and have useable math skills
- Lift at least 20 lbs on a regular basis
- Lift 40 lbs on occasion
- Be able to stand for 8-hour shift
- Meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Pay attention to detail
- Have fun with a hard-working crew who enjoy their work
