Sewing & Fashion Design Teacher (After School Program 2023-2024) In-Person

Sewing & Fashion Design teacher needed to teach (3rd-12th grade students) the basics of sewing and fashion design this 2023-2024 school year as well as potential for our summer program! Material budget will be given and 2+ sewing machines will be available. 1-hour classes on select days for up to 30 weeks. Opportunity for growth is available as most of our teachers work 4 days a week! Immediate Hire!

This position is for in-person instruction.

CDS is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic sewing instructor to offer a rewarding opportunity and culture of learning for our students to grow their skills and develop their craft. We are looking for candidates interested in the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners this school year!
 

Requirements: 

Experience with various forms of sewing (hand/machine/embroidery, etc.)

Ability to teach/ instruct large groups with different skill levels

Strong organizational skills and creative thinking

This position is part-time/contractual - averaging 2-4 hours per week.
